Gish Mobile, published by GlobalFun, voted Mobile Game of the Year

Karlskrona, April 13th 2010 – The highly-acclaimed Gish Mobile game published by GlobalFun, developed by HardWire and Pixalon Studios, was recently voted the Best Mobile Game of 2009, by Pocket Gamer Readers' Choice Awards.

“We are very happy, and proud, about this news.” Marcus Johansson, CEO of GlobalFun, said. “The winners were chosen by the fans themselves and this is great proof that our games hits home with gamers everywhere.”

Arjan Oldser, Vice President Pixalon Studios, continued “We are thrilled that gamers around the world named Gish Mobile as their top choice. We look forward to continue to build on this momentum with our future releases.”

The Gish Mobile game, originally premiered in April of 2009, was immediately met with rave reviews, and its rate of growth has increased consistently since then. "About as perfect a platform game as you'll find for your mobile phone" Pocket Gamer wrote at its launch.

Gish Mobile is a clever hybrid game - a cross between a platform game and a puzzle game. The player controls Gish, a tar ball stuck underground. You get to explore a dark and humorous world using advanced physics, and utilize the environments and your gelatinous body to overcome foes and solve puzzles, either by yourself or with a friend in the Bluetooth cooperative mode.

Game Features
• Revolutionary physics engine
• 51 single player levels
• 45 Bluetooth multiplayer levels (co-op, deathmatch and race)
• 5 playground bonus levels
• Zeemote support
